SDC 2016 Session: ARTIK Security, Does One Size Fit All?

Speakers: Don A. Bailey, CEO, Lab Mouse Security
Robert Brown, IoT Marketing Director, Trustonic
Sharon Saban, Director, Product Marketing, Samsung
IoT is a vast landscape for innovative products and services, from tiny battery operated devices that sense their surroundings to highly intelligent and automated smart things. We at Samsung think that while all of these different ‘things’ require security, the various use cases create specific needs. During this session we will have Don A. Bailey from Lab Mouse Security describing root causes of common security gaps in modern IoT products and services. Don will introduce the GSMA IoT Security Guidelines he wrote in partnership with the GSMA to provide executives and engineers with a successful security base architecture. The session will also host Robert Brown from Trustonic, a Samsung ARTIK ecosystem partner. Robert will provide grounding in the Trusted Execution Environment that underpins highly secured services such as Samsung Knox and Samsung Pay. You will learn about the technology that protects user interactions, device integrity, and access to sensitive functions, privacy and security of credentials.
